Well.... The honor 6x is newer, and and better hardware than the 5x... So you can cross the 5x off your list
 
Another one to consider it the Moto E4 Plus at $179 or $199 if you prefer large phones. 5.5 inch screen and a giant 5,000 mAh battery, works on almost all carriers like the Moto E4.

"Best" depends what features you're looking for.
 
ZTE Zmax Pro is a 2016 phone. The newest "version" is the ZTE Blade Zmax (has 7.0 Nougat) and dual cameras.
