What is the best way?

I am looking some software to convert my video clips..so i have problem with what are the software is best for that...If any one know about that..please let me know...!

do you want the best? or the easiest?

Best: adobe premiere, final cut pro, avid. all are in the thousands of dollars, but work great.

Easiest: Handbrake or SUPER. both free, and after setting resolution, codec, etc you are on your way.
