What is Edge? Or what is the difference between an S6 and an S6 edge (or Note4 and Note 4 edge)?

Main difference is that the S6 Edge has a curved screen on both sides, allowing for a few more features.
The Edge has a slightly bigger battery:
S6: 2550mAh
S6: Edge 2600mAh
And slightly more pixels because of the curved screen:
S6: 1440 x 2560
S6 Edge: 1440 x 2660
From what I've seen most/all of the internal parts of the S6 and S6 Edge are the same.

Is it an additional screen in addition to the main screen?
It's all one screen that just curves at the sides, not a separate display like the Note Edge was.
You can set up the sides to show notifications though, so if the phone is laying screen down you can still see some info

Neat. I guess I would have to see one in person to truly understand.
