Hi Guys,

I own a Galaxy S3 and I have an OTG cable with which I access my 16GB pendrive. My 16GB pendrive has some problems so I am planning to buy a 32GB pendrive.

What is the max capacity which Galaxy S3 can support through OTG cable. My OTG cable is a normal cable without any external power supply. So can it support till 64GB?

Thanks in advance.

Is pendrive the same as thumb drive? If so, it should support upto 64 gb. I'm using a 16 gb thumbdrive with my OTG cable, but since the GS3 supports upto 64 gb for microSD, I bet the same is true for the USB-OTG cable.

Pendrives don't need external power.

Power only becomes an issue if you want to hook up a mechanical drive.

I'd recommend a SanDisk cruzer fit, upto 32GB very very small profile, if you need higher capacity drives, you can go upto 128GB in a SanDisk pendrive profile.

Are you sure that S3 can support 128gb pendrive?
