Root What is the status of basix 2.0/cm7/any other roms?

Is this something that we should just give up on? Or are they still being worked on? Just curious if theres anything else upcoming or if what we have is it.
 
You are awesome I thought development was dead. As soon as you port gingerbread from r915 to r910 I will be donating for sure. You have paypal donation right?
 
No, I don't, and I appreciate the offer. However, I won't take your money. I'm in this game for the learning experience, the sense of accomplishment, and the mutual benefit of the community. My only expense is time and coffee, and I drink gallons of it when I'm coding. So if you're ever in the Detroit area, buy me a coffee. Otherwise, just enjoy the Rom when I'm done with it. I'm still trying to work out all the intricacies of android. Once I learn what files handle what pieces of hardware and how, the rest is just time spent coding it and packaging it up for testing. When it runs on my device without flaw, ill release it for everyone to enjoy. Until then, be patient and bear with me, as this is my first rom
 
A new version of Basix will not show up unless GB for R910 does. As far as ports... stock ROMs... coding... wat. Not so likely.

Still don't have that R915 GB package. Still waiting on that. Anyone?

If I had a 915 handy, I'd see about snagging it.

I'm not sure how the keis handles updates though. if it downloads the update first then flashes, you could capture the files. If it's more direct, that would be a bit more difficult.

I highly doubt you're building AOSP builds. If you are, join #indulge, we have things to talk about. Otherwise... I'm not sure you know what you're talking about. The only available non-leak 2.3 ROM for the R915 is stock, as put out on Kies/etc. That is capturable, but has not been rooted, because nobody has given me a package.

when you say building android open src project builds, your talking about taking the specific 2.3 branch (in this case) and hacking it up for the indulge r910/r915?

not that my question matters, i mostlikely would not be able to build a custom one, how many lines of custom code are we talkin here, couple thousand?:mad:
