What is the true meaning of success?

It has been one heavy road my life so far... spending my 18 birthday in a semi asylum ... wondering if people are out to get me or kill me... wanting to blow my brains out... wanting nothing to do with this world... what a shame that would have been!

It's a very strange world.... sometimes I sit wondering what is the true meaning of success... what does it truly mean to really succeed... is it all just a facade?

Is it all in my head...?

I want to go back to the times when I used to believe in God... I used to believe but the pains of life (that are finally lifting now) seemed to make me believe that this life is not exactly what it seems sometimes...

A great quote I heard from one of my favorite songs is "how can somebody win if somebody loses?"

That's a great line indeed...

Here's to those who have suffered tremendously and come out on top with no ego and your head still held up high.... but don't let it be too high

So a great question to ask yourself from time to time... what is the true meaning of success?

Rewind a bit before you enter that heavy gauntlet again... take time to collect yourself...to find yourself...

My idea of a successful day starts with my feet hitting the floor. That means I am alive and physically able to do something. Finding my pillow, blankets, and wife where they ought to be at the end of the day means my day ended successfully. Any trials and tribulations in between those two events are not likely anything I can do much about except persevere and help where I can. But as long as my day starts and ends in the above described manner, then it has been a successful day!
