What is this icon in notification panel?

Tanky123

Lurker
Does anyone know what this icon in the notification bar is? Attached a rough drawing. It is a lowercase "b."

Welcome aboard @Tanky123! Would you be able to share a screenshot to help us identify the icon? On most Android phones you can do that by pressing the Volume-Down and Power buttons for a second or two.

Well try to grab a pic if/when it comes back and we'll be able to help out a bit more. :D

Here's something I just found out that may help. Tap on settings > more > scroll to the bottom and go to the about me page (where you check for updates) there's an option called "Icon Glossary". Got that from Android Community. Evidently this is available on Samsung Galaxy S3s and S4s.

Thanks! I did not see it. I think it's a 3rd-party app. Now which one...

Its beam some proggie that works like a virtual loyalty card holder
It is! To be exact, it's Beaming Service for Samsung:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobeam.barcodeService

Which works with this app, Beep'nGo (made by the same folks, Mobeam):

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobeam.beepngo

So you can use loyalty cards from shops (e.g. Starbucks). Quite a handy app if you ever wanted it and less crap to have in your wallet... [emoji6]
