Does anyone know what this icon in the notification bar is? Attached a rough drawing. It is a lowercase "b."

j/k. It does look like something to do with Beats. If it's on the left of the Notification bar what shows beside it when you pull the bar down?

Thanks! I cannot as it is gone now. It's not the Beats icon as it has three dots around the b.

If it was on the left side of the bar it's probably from a 3rd-party app.

Here's something I just found out that may help. Tap on settings > more > scroll to the bottom and go to the about me page (where you check for updates) there's an option called "Icon Glossary". Got that from Android Community. Evidently this is available on Samsung Galaxy S3s and S4s.
