Trying to figure out what this is. Has anyone ever seen this symbol?

Some sort of message app would be my guess, but I've never seen it before. Funny to see multiple copies of it.

I guess that it doesn't show up if you pull the notifications down.

My brother passed away and we finally got access to his phone. My mom sent me this screenshot and asked what it was for. I'm at work right now so I can't see if she is opening it right. I didn't mean to post it twice. It's obviously for an app I just don't know which one.

Tell your mom to drag down the notification bar and long-press on one of the messages. It will tell here which app is generating the message.

I didn't mean to post it twice.

That's not what I meant: most apps just put up one notification no matter how many messages they have, so I meant that it was funny that the app had put up multiple notification icons.
