Hey everyone! I'm new to Android and was an iOS user since it's inception; however I've really reevaluated my concepts on what a smartphone should be, and have felt encumbered and locked down even with a jail broken iPhone. I'm starting college soon as well, and need to make some cash on the side for general living,(pizza/beer) so I decided I want to learn Java and jump into app development. I've dabbled in Basic and LabView, so I'm pretty much a programming virgin. See you guys around the forum!
