what keeps me from buying Xiaomi mi 8 SE. and question of gap difference between helio p60 vs SD 710

so xiaomi mi 8 SE is announced and its the first phone to sport snapdragon 710. the main reason is it lack face unclock, its a bad move to not apply current trends even if its a budget segment. the second is just personal preference: its has 5.8 inch with big swollen notch with small space on two sides, its so damn ugly. and if there's a feature to hide a notch, the screen will only look like 5.5 which is too small for my taste. i want at least 6 inch screen. the battery is ok, 3120mah is average but the 10nm and quick 3.0 is making it even more acceptable. so if the screen is bigger with smaller notch and face unlock i would buy it. so im thinking of choosing oppo F7 youth with big 6 inch notchless screen with almost instant fast face unlock. i hear lots of possitive things about helio p60, its almost equal to SD 660 and if SD 710 is 20% faster than 660 would that means SD 710 is 23% to 25% faster than helio p60? is there big gap of difference? also there's report that xiaomi will launch helio p60 phone, if that is better its either that or oppo F7 youth.

In fact most manufacturers included it when it was first introduced then dropped it a year or two later. Some have resurrected it recently because Apple have made it fashionable again in some circles.

(The Apple version uses 2 cameras to get some topological information and that isn't foolproof, but the single camera versions used on Android devices are much easier to fool).

The 710 looks promising on paper, and Qualcomm have been making some nice SoCs recently, but I don't know about the actual performance of that particular device.

The other question is what apart from raw performance is important to you? You seem to have a long list of reasons why you'd prefer the Oppo, so even if the Snapdragon is faster in real world applications, would that be enough to outweigh the other factors? And if it were, but you don't like the device otherwise, would you prefer to wait until someone released a device using it that is closer to your tastes?

hmm.. im planning to buy to buy new phone on september or october for under 300 dollars, and the Mi SE is no doubt the best choice, if there's no other budget SD 710 available by that time which i think is highly possible, i think ill just buy Mi 8 SE

hmm.. im planning to buy new phone on september or october for under 300 dollars, and the Mi 8 SE is no doubt the best choice, if there's no other budget SD 710 available by that time which i think is highly possible, i think ill just buy Mi 8 SE
