What kind of battery you got for D710?

I've always carried at least one spare battery of normal size (and that goes back to before they introduced cellphones that had cameras.)

Two reasons. When the battery in the phone dies (and I don't care how large the battery is, the day will come when you'll talk it dead), I know I have a spare one, and I know I've been talking too much. Also, the larger the battery, the longer it takes to charge. A phone that can charge the battery at 1.5A (that's the maximum rate you can charge a 1500mA battery) will take about 6 hours to charge a 5000mA battery.

And that's assuming that the phone charges the battery at maximum rate. Some phones charge at a lot less. So if your phone is charging at, say, 500mA - which would mean a little over 4 hours to charge a fully discharged battery), it would take about 14 hours to charge a fully discharged 5000mA battery. If I have 3 batteries, and 3 chargers that can charge at the maximum rate (and charge the batteries outside the phone), I can have all 3 of them charged in about 80 minutes.

Oh, one other point, and it's very rare, but Lithium Ion batteries do occasionally fail spectacularly. Sony had a whole load of them fail by burning. That's not the worst they can do. They're not as powerful as the same amount of C4, but they can cause quite an explosion. And a 1500mA battery explodes a lot less than a 5000mA battery. If it's going to go boom anywhere near my body, I prefer a smaller boom.
