what may be the problem when bluetooth earphone connects but no sound

I am having a baseus s06 bluetooth earphone. It connects via Bluetooth easily but no sound is heard. Even the on and off beep sound is not heard. I think it slipped to some water but not sure so i kept it in rice for 4 days but no improvement
Please help me

Broken internally from falls, water damage, poor handling etc. Bluetooth headphones are very delicate instruments and should be handled with great care. The old dry rice trick may or may not work depending on the severity of the water damage. Me personally I ran through dozens of them just over a few years, it may be time to purchase another one.
