What movie just really grabbed you by the heart recently? I am watching 'what's eating gilber grape right now and i'm like aweeeeeeeeeeeee but then the secret life of bees just grabbed the hell out of me. What got you goin recently?

Well I watch a lot of movies. But the one that stands out to me is the color purple. and the notebook and a walk to remeber are my favs.

i've never heard of a walk to remember but i definately will be looking it up! "where the heart is" is an excellent movie as well! Wow someone actually responded to my thread! Yay

Right now, only Schindler's list comes to my mind. And "life is beautiful" (while on that topic). Color purple? Agree.

And storm3333 - may I just say that this pic is wow. Veeery arty:)

Requiem for a Dream ... First time I watched it I walked away feeling disgusted as a human... I still get emotional when I watch it. Love the musical score.

awe well thankies and "LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL" oh my goodness I can't believe I failed to mention that movie. The Producer is Genius! A definate must see movie!

Kitt Kittredge, I just watched it with my kids (got it from the Redbox). It seems really appropriate now, considering the economy and people losing their jobs.

No movie has taken me yet. I'm really awaitin' a good horror movie to scare the heck bustin' crap out of me. But horror/suspense movies are all score now, thus predictable. So, no luck there.

That movie is awesome!!! I love the last five and a half minutes. It makes you feel a little dirty doesn't it?

I still love Lost In Translation... that movie gets me everytime...

Inception!

No matter how many times I watch that I still notice something I didn't see the first time and makes the story that much more interesting!

If this is about movies that grab you emotionally, check out:

Wendy and Lucy- Michelle Williams looking for her lost dog. The end is a heart breaker.

The Savages- Philip Seymour Hoffman and Laura Linney taking care of dad with dementia. Sad and uplifting at the same time.

Winters Bone- best movie of 2010.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind- a love story like no other. (and I usually hate love stories)

Social Network was great.

Life is Beautiful is amazing.

Still love Forest Gump.

Step it Up 3D - now that's the best. A real message in that piece of art.

I thought Water for Elephants was great, though it hasn't had the greatest reviews. I might have a soft spot for the story being that I am in the VetMed field.
