What OS should I install on LG G2?

Lurker
I just got a second hand LG G2, its currently running on 4.4.2 (Kernel 3.4.0 in case that is important).

As I know, I can install the newer lollypop OS via the computer. But am wondering if I should do this or not? What might be the pros and cons? Is it safe? And if so what is the easiest way to do this? I don't plan to root it or anything like that, just wanna get the official update.

As long as you are using the official stock firmware to upgrade, I'd go for it. Lollipop (5.0) was a nice upgrade from 4.4, which is getting pretty dusty these days. Many apps now won't even run on it.

I would recommend a factory reset after the upgrade just to clean out all the leftover junk.

Nope.

Once android is upgraded there's no (easy) way to go back. A factory reset simply removes all user data and settings, but leaves the OS intact.
