what phone to get in canada?

hey, im in the market for a new phone but i live in canada. I can't get the Htc Legend or the motorola milestone (the droid) because its too expensive right now and the options i have available are the,
motorola backflip for 200
the htc Dream (the G1) for 175
the motorola Cliq for 200
or the Blackberry storm 2 for 250.

Which would be the better option? I'm thinking i could root the htc dream and make it fast rather then get the backflip which cannot be rooted yet.

However, Bell already has a decent price on the Legend http://www.bell.ca/shopping/en_CA_ON.HTC-Legend/70252.details or are you looking for a specific carrier or contract length?
