What phone to get in this situation (sprint)?

I have a new Samsung Moment and like it quite a bit. I am new to smart phones and this is my first one (upgraded from Motorola flip phone that barely texted). I have worked for two weeks to get it to where it is now and it seems to be fairly stable. My main issues are missed calls (several calls have gone direct to voicemail without showing up as a missed call and the phone was literally in my hand at the time), heating up to almost uncomfortably warm and, of course, battery life. I can't really get through a day without a charge with moderate use.

I am still within my 30-day window so I am really considering going up to the Evo after Friday. My understanding, though, is that I am only allowed one change like this in that 30-day window so if I go for Evo this is it. It looks amazing and I think I really want it but, if you were me, would you do it?

I guess it comes down to trading off known and documented issues with the Moment for a brand new phone with who knows what issues to come? The devil you know argument. Thoughts?

Get the EVO, shine that sum bitch up, turn it sideways. And STICK IN STRAIT UP YOU'RE CANDY ASS!!! CAN YOU SMMMMEEEEELELELLELELELLLOOWWWWW!! WHAT THE ROCK....IS COOOKING?

Seriously, bla bla bla battery life, to warm to hold, bla blab sissy haha.. Get the evo. its the new Jesus phone, cept i dont really believe in jesus, that makes me hip. Obama for life, down with bush.

Check out the moment sub forum. The moment is riddled with bugs. What your experiencing is called the "airplane mode" bug. Terrible terrible bug. And there is not a fix for it. Drop the moment, get the evo. This is coming from another moment owner. This is not a fault in android, but a fault in samsungs crappy coding/build quality.

Tapatalk. Samsung Moment. Yep.
