It appears that SMS Tracker mentions using this app as a way for parents to see who/what their children are messaging and calling. Used in that sense, and as long as the children understand that their parents only use the app in order to protect their best interests, I believe it's a great app for that purpose. Trust is easily given but must also be earned in some cases.
I'm sure that they would not condone any other use of the app
