What Software Version does Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" run in the UK?

I'm thinking of treating myself to a new Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" but I just want to check before I buy it that it runs the latest Android Software I have a Galaxy S6 which regularly updates, currently running 6.0.1 Can I expect the Tab S2 to also receive such regular updates and what version is it currently running?

The only reason I ask is a lot of shopping sites advertise it as running Android 5 which is somewhat dated now, I can only assume it would update as soon as you have it up & running if that is the case?

Also, anyone in the UK know where it is currently selling cheapest? I have seen it in Currys for £289 which is also includes a Chromecast Adaptor which seems a very a good deal to me!

My fourteen month old Galaxy S2 9.7 in UK with O2 is currently running on Android Version 6.0.1. I am delighted with its performance now and over that period.

Thanks very much. Very helpful. I'm after the Wi-Fi only version of the tablet but I guess the software updates at around the same time

In u.k , wifi only s2 running 6.0.1 and frequent " connected to WiFi " notification !!!
