What sort of SD card?

I have an Android-based phone that has no name that I can find. It came as "android, TV, radio, camera" blah blah, but is nameless.

However. I want to get and SD card for it to use the camera and store stuff on it. What do I need to buy?

thanks for any help

Nick

It will most likely take a Micro SD Card (I've not heard of any Android handset using anything else) and you should look at anything Class 6 and above.

You'd probably get away with less than Class 6, but I've always gone with Class 6 and never had any problems. The higher the class, the faster the read/write speed of the card.

OK. Thanks for that. I will take your advice on the speed. As you can probably tell from my first question, I have very little idea about a phone being used as all sort of other stuff,

A question if I may.

What about storage size? Is there a limit, or some size that is the "best"? I mean I realise that the more I can store the more I can store etc....but....

The Android version is 2.3.1, if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance

Nick

The storage size limit is dependent on the phone. Some will support only 16GB, others up to 32GB, but its hard to tell without knowing what the phone is.

Thanks for the info.

I dug down into the guts of the phone's info and found it's an A602. It can handle up to 16GB.

So now I know where to start. Again, thanks.
