What the best custom ROM?

I have a Verizon GS3 and I am looking for a ROM with priorities on performance and battery life. I don't really care too much about how pretty it looks.

What is the best option for me? Usually my go-to ROM is Cyanogen, but form their website, it doesnt look like they have a stable version for the GS3 yet.

I think your talking about CM10.
CM9 is pretty stable from what I've heard.

If you want good battery life and performance, you should look at different kernels.
I'm running Perseus right now, runs pretty smooth. (I overclock my CPU and GPU a bit)

I don't think there is a best ROM, just one that fits your style.
