I know, I don't understand tip calculators. The phone has a calculator. You mean that someone can't put in (price of meal) x .15 and press the equal button?
 
hell, i always tip 20%. it's simple math to make 10% of the total bill and just double it. Then i just round it up to the next dollar.

tip calculators are for penny pinchers :P
 
I don't get the flashlight apps either - unlocking the phone and leaving it on the home screen is plenty of light for me to set my alarm, get undressed and in bed, and put the phone on its charger without waking up my wife.
 
I'm just hoping the market wont be flooded with a million of the same apps. I know it offers variety, but also makes searching through the marketplace very annoying.
 
Our tax here is about 8-9% so the rule of thumb is just double what the tax was. Its a tip, its not rocket science. Either your service was good or it wasn't.

They should make a tip calculator that judges how well your service was and THEN tells you how much to tip. :D
