Ok, I know this is a dumb question. I have an upgrade in January. I'm really wanting to step up to a 5+ inch screen, quad core or better processor (maybe the Motorola x8?). I'm considering the note 3 but I really love the Motorola build quality (basically Motorola phones look badass!) And the battery life. Would you guys possibly wait and see what the xplay is all about, the quantum, or is the note 3 worth jumping on? Even thinking about waiting for the sg5....

Just wondering what anyone in my position would be thinking?!

I plan on moving to the edge program and have conceded to losing my unlimited data because my wifi at home is better than 4g.

What's your opinion? Thanks!

Yeah but it'll be 6 months old by then! I'm tired of having "yesterdays" phone! Maybe the quantum will be making news by then!

I upgraded form the Bionic to the Maxx and it is the best phone I have ever had.

The Bionic needed charging long about hour 9 every day. I never think about the battery on the Maxx. I just plug it in when I go to bed. I measured it twice going to 0% and it was just under three days once and just over three days the second time.

The 5" screen is simply great.

I was just a few months ahead of you in making the decision. If you do it the price will probably be very attractive.

Thom, I was a fellow bionic owner and often followed your post and advice, so know that I will hold your opinion highly! My only concern with the maxx come January is that it will be 6+ months old.....as will the note 3 that I an considering. I am a moto fanboy though so the quantum and xplay are really getting my attention!
