Facebook: November 2008, "Arrived Beijing airport. So this is China."

Did have a Twitter account but I deleted it after I got bored of tweeting.

My first tweet was saying I'm on Twitter. My first facebook post was something like I can't believe I signed up for this site

While I have a Twitter account, it's benefits or utility still eludes me.

I joined Facebook April 17 2007, didn't post until almost 2 years later and it was a MEME my brother posted.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?
First name: Mother. Middle name: Paternal Grandfather. Last name: Ancestry traced back to the Merovingian Kings.

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?
When Bambi’s parents were roasted in the forest fire and no one invited me.

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?
No, it’s rude and sarcastic.

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT?
I don’t eat lunch. I did, however commemorate our savior’s resurrection by consuming the ass of a dead pig. [That’s religion for ya.]

5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS?
Baaaaaaaaaah! Or did you mean children?

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU?
If I were another person, I wouldn't exist to be friends with. Therefore I’d be my own imaginary friend which is rather creepy.

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM?
Never. I hire people to be sarcastic for me.

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS?
No. I gave them to Angelina Jolie to have made into a belt buckle.

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP?
No, but I’d bungee plummet.

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL?
M

I love Twitter, and its uses are many as far as I can see. :) It's a quick, easy way to just say something, and it actually can provide a very bonding environment. I'm very connected to the other regulars who participate in its #BrainTumorThursday every week. We share our ups and downs, and while it may sound inherently depressing, it's really not. Like myself, most brain tumor survivors have a great sense of humor! (You kind of have to, you know? Like when you're recovering from a craniotomy and you're half bald and everything...you either make jokes about it or hide. I chose jokes! :D)

Of course tons of people follow celebrities and hang on their every word. I'm not one of those Twitter users.
