What was your previous phone/platform?

I switched to Android (S.Galaxy) after using Nokia S60v3 platform for 3 years. There are few things I miss, but not enough to switch back or to anything else, at least atm.

N900 looks promising. Same kernel, but much better hardware specs. Adblock, flash support and cpu twice as fast, it could be next referent browser for smartphones.

Right now I have the HTC Touch Pro w/winmo 6. This is the gimped Verizon phone that doesn't have enough memory to even handle HTC's touch flo without serious lag.

I am looking forward to an open Android Motorola Sholes phone on Verizon. :)

i hope verizon doesnt gimp the motorola sholes i dont have verizon but i think its horrible what they do to their phones especially for how much their plans cost =/

GL snatchin up my hero soon!

ON a side note: the sholes looks amazing so far

Sidekick LX running Danger OS. was a cool phone when I was 16 and 17, but having moved up to a corporate position I need a phone that could either A. Support corporate email (Touchdown FTW) or B. at least have html web browsing so I could access the outlook web access site for my company. the sidekick did neither.

I was on the iPhone untill today. I transfered my account to someone else and now I'm phoneless... untill Oct 11th. :-) It's worth the wait to escape the iPhone and be within reach of the Hero!

I'm definitely rockin' a US Cellular BlackBerry Curve 8330 right now. It doesn't suck by any means, but it sure knows how to crash. I'm infatuated with the Hero, so it will be in my pocket on Oct. 11th.

I've moved over from a SE k810i it was I nice phone decent camera with a good flash.

The hero now much better phone ace features just a few things that bug me about it but not enough to change back or do anything about it.

Just swapped from the Blackberry Bold, a brilliant phone... to the HTC Hero. The Hero is fantastic. The ROM update went smoothly and the phone offers all the Blackberry did and more. I love to tinker with my phones and this fits the bill nicely.

;) Xperia x1 so winmo all the way,i really like Android tbh easy as to use instead of messing with stylus all the time whether i'l think the same when the winmo7 is released i dont know tbh

Every smartphone. EVER. But seriously, I've pretty much tried every smartphone or PDA that T-Mo has come out with. My last non-Android phone was the Blackberry 8320 though.

I've tried the lot too.

Palm, winmo, symbian, iphone, blackberry.....now hero.

Like it, a lot. I would only be swayed by the 3gS BUT someone would need to come along, swap my simcard for me, put all my contacts how I like them, set it all up, charge it, put it in my hand, box my hero, do the dishes, make my lunch then go.

I will be coming from a BlackBerry Storm (with leaked OS 5.0) to the Motorola Sholes once it is out (if it doesn't disappoint, which I am sure it won't). I can't wait to get my hands on it!
