What's New 2.0 ?

So I see that the new Droid(s) will operate under Android 2.0. What's new over 1.6 ? It must be significant or they would have called it 1.7 or 1.61. Is there a webpage somewhere that I missed which explains it? Is 2.0 SDK available for download somewhere?
 
No information has been made official. It would require someone who has been able to play with Android 2.0 to give out this information. I hope that the calendar month view supports multiple colors based on your different calendars. I heard previous versions only supported different colors in views other than monthly.
