I have rooted and installed the SLIMROM for my Avant. (Samsung Galaxy Avant MetroPCS)
I am looking to setup OTG for usb devices. I am going to be setting up an ethernet usb adapter for this phone and run it into my router. I want to use my phone as a gateway without the need to tether to my PC then PDA NET shared to NIC and then plugged into WAN on my router.
What steps would I need to take to get OTG and usb devices working on my Samsung Galaxy Avant?
Also, what do you guys recommend as far as configuration of the phone and software?
I own and use:
FoxFI (Paid Key)
PDANET (PAID)
Ultimate Servers for android (need help setting up a vpn server using this app on my phone)
This phone is going to be a always-on gateway for internet access, any tips for me?
Are there any better roms that have been tested and work? Do I need a hacked kernel for OTG????????
