What's the Best App Protector? It's not password, it's ...

What's the best app protector? Strong password with cool lock screen? Of course NOT. The best proector would let prier not be aware of any protection. App Locker II is one such protector to protect your private apps.

When launching a protected app, it will throw a fake crash error which may mislead guest user into thinking that your app has a glitch or something. So it can stop guest from using your protected app in a natural manner.

But owner can clear it through several secret ways. It also provide a password protector with a secret input method.

It also has another version named "Invisible Protector" which even won't show any app icon on your desktop. The only way to open it is dial "#999" in your telephone and press call.

it's not truly hidden as you can see it in list of running services, and it can be shut down from there...unless it is also protected from that?

1. Can also protect that, but non protector can completely prevent itself be killed or be cracked.
2. But this protector won't let prier aware that the app is under protected, so prier even will not to think how to kill or crack it. This is the best thing of this app.

sorry, i don't quite understand. i was referring to Invisible Protector, where it's not truly invisible because i can see it under running services. are you saying that Invisible Protector service cannot be stopped from there? If it can, what happens then to the protected apps?

You can add the Phone Settings into protect list too, if so, the prier can't open the running service either.

But there are too many ways to do it, so no one protector can completely prevent the prier to kill or crack it if he know it. So the best protector is not to make a firm locker but just don't let prier know a protector there. If he even don't know your app is under protected, how will he to kill or crack it?

The protector using a fake crash dialog instead of the password screen, so normal users just think your phone is something wrong and close it, he won't think too much about it.

Not Invisible Protector but the app you intend on keeping people from running.
This causes a fake crash so the app appears to be non functional.

Now, if the person prying into your phone knows what this app Invisible Protector is, then it has been defeated, since they'd know why it's running.

Don't worry about it, the user who borrow your phone usually don't aware that. And it still provide a secret password mode which was made just like the standard error report form, it can make double safe for your app.

It usually even tricked myself, sometime I forgot one app was protected, and I kept hitting the force close button, lol.

In a word, no protector can't be cracked, but this protector is much harder to be perceived.

thanks for the responses. all good, even better if the protector can somehow hide the app altogether but that might be asking too much.
