What's the best mini laptop computer

Hey Guys!

I'm in the market for a cheap, small laptop that's under 10 inches, and preferably less than $300. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to purchase an outdated piece of junk, but don't necessarily need to have the latest and greatest.

Probably Netbooks for that price range. Check out Best Buy if you are in the States.

The ones I've seen in that price range I'd recommend come from Lenovo and TOshiba. No idea on what model numbers they are though.

I am also looking for a cheap smaller laptop. Netbooks will work, if they can run Word. I do not care about any other specs. Resolution, sound, processor speed . . matters not one whit.

You can buy a NetBook from Walmart for around $250. I bought one over a year ago. It was so slow out-of-the-box, I returned it an hour after buying it. The mouse cursor lagged as I moved the mouse. Maybe they have improved. Netbooks online at Walmart start at like $228.

I think Lenovo is probably the best of the netbooks. From what I've seen they're the best built ones.
