Root whats the best rom? not CYANAGENMOD

Can anyone recommend a good ROM that isn't based on CYANAGENMOD?
For some reason when I use CYANAGENMOD my wifi doesn't work.

Dude my wifi works perfectly, im using CM since the last 6 months.

And there's no such thing as a 'Best Rom'!! Try all the roms, the one you like is the best rom.
For me its the unofficial CM made 7 months ago and there have been tons of development after that, so there is no best rom, its the one you like, for many stock is the best, for some like me we love CM.

Wifi works for me ok.

You can try CM again but with a newer kernel like the backhawk kernel since the kernel replaces the wifi driver.

OmegaROM is based on stock and does speed it up, but the launcher it comes with isnt very good in my view.

Or can go back to stock and replace RFS with EXT4 which speeds it up significantly. This option is the best for no bugs.

As long as you are rooted, you can change the launcher in any rom you want.
For speeding up stock you change the file system to ext, deodex it, use ram scripts, overclocking kernel etc.
I find default CM very fast, and after taking out the unnecessary apps, its lightening fast!!

If you have cm wifi issues then flash the wifi fix found on XDA works with all kernels.

Prolly the best ROM for UI is MIUI. For performance, Cyanogenmod. Just try all sorts of ROMs and see for yourself.
