What's up with the 4.3 update for Note 2

Hi why are we being left in the Dark about Note 2. 4.3 update on Verizon or any us models. HTC Anounced the HTC One to get updated to 4.3 by end of 9-13. Does anyone feel slighted ? Why does it take soon to get updates. It should go to the older models first then to later released models. By the time older models get the update. Will be up for a new phone. Roll out of updates needs to be done quicker & to those of us who been supporting the manufacturer by buying there products with the hopes they take care of us first. So we can enjoy the devices more before it's out of date. Feeling frustrated & confused by Samsung & Verizon . Help plz. As Note to has been taken off the update page. What is really going on .... ?
