Help Whatsapp doesn't shows messages as preview in lock screen

Whatsapp doesn't show messages as a preview in the lock screen. I have Android 8.0 running in my S7 edge.

Thanks but I have seen in some mobiles where people check their messages directly from lock screen without opening Whatsapp and avoiding the two blue tick mark.

Ok, that's something I've never seen. Maybe someone else knows more?

This should be related to how notifications are set in lock screen. Check your settings and confirm that Whastapp is allowed to show notifications when a new message arrives.
