Help Whatsapp group chat history after leaving group chat?

In Whatsapp,

1) If I leave a group chat, can I still see the group chat history?

2) If I leave a group chat, can the other people still see my group chat history?

3) Is there a way that after leaving I have left a group chat, other people will not see my group chat history?

If it works like how most other chat apps (Viber, Facebook, etc), then the answers are:

1.) No. It's the same as deleting it from your message history.
2.) Yes. Basically the entire thread exists as in the server. Leaving it simply means you revoke access. But what you left there stays.
3.) None. Well you could call Whatsapp, but I bet they won't bother with it and give you the same responses I gave.

For question 1, Is there a difference if I left the group chat myself vs if I was removed from the group chat?

I was removed from a group chat (removed by the person who added me, I think he setup the group chat too) and I can still see my group chat history with that person.

As far as I know, whatever reason you were removed, the previous messages stays, but I can't be sure.
