I am new to the forum and Android, having just bought the Galaxy Nexus from Samsung with ICS.
I am used to WhatsApp on iPhone where you can completely disable the (push) notifications, essentially making the app invisible until you choose to go and look.
Does anyone know if this is possible with WhatsApp on Android? I can turn sounds off etc, but I don't want it to appear in notification bar at the top at all. I have looked round for apps that provide extra control of notifications but to no avail... Any advice / help would be appreciated...
