WhatsApp opens not the right url

MyHuawei P9 Lite opens not the url that is given in a received WhatsApp message. When I click on the url in the message a different (but a known) site is openend. The site that is openend is from an app that is installed on my phone. Anybody any suggestion how I can influence/change the link to the right address??

That is really strange.

Does this happen only when opening a link received in WhatsApp?
What kind of app is causing this issue?
Is this a website that opens every time you open the browser?

Indeed strange. The address in the WhatsApp is like: https://vimeo.com/.. and the site that opens is a site of my newspaper. I have installed an app of this newspaper. My Firefox and Chrome browser open with the normal installed page.
I removed the newspaper app and installed the same app again. Result: the problem isn't a problem anymore!!
