When using homescreen replacements...

do i need to close/delete the widgets/icons on my original homescreen? do these still run and take up resources or does it not matter? logic tells me yes, but im not familiar with linux and how it runs. Thanks for your time!

You should remove the widgets from the homescreen. I don't know for sure, but others have said that widgets will still use resources, and I definitely noticed a difference when I removed everything from my default homescreens.

Even if we're unsure, you're better off just removing them anyways, since it's really not going to hurt anything if you do.
