My tablet is the 9.7" S2 and the bluetooth earbuds are the Jaybird BlueBuds X. When I am at the gym, the spotty wifi connection drops on my S2 tab a few times per hour, then immediately reconnects. When the signal drops, the audio switches from my bluetooth earbuds to the tablet speakers every time.
At home, I tried repeating the test with the tablet, paired with my bluetooth soundbar, but when I killed the signal by unplugging the wifi router, it didn't disconnect the sound. I'd say it must be the earbuds in that case, except for the fact that the same thing happened when I tried out a Samsung Tab A, but it doesn't happen on an iPad 2. Therefore, I'd think the earbuds just don't play nice with the tablet, but I have no idea.
