When will Facebook For Android get "Places" Added onto the app?

I noticed that the touch web version on the LG ally (Running 2.1 update) shows the places check in. But the app doesnt...yet. Anyone got some info on it?

I'm convinced that Facebook Inc. hates Android. the FB app for android will always play second fiddle to the iOS version.

Use foursquare A lot more fun and syncs to facebook perfectly!
