When will the block from ABC, NBC & Hulu end?

I'm only now considering the Logitech Revue since the price has dropped to $99, so I haven't been keeping up with all the G TV news.

Everything sounds good to me, but a deal killer is getting blocked by some of the networks. I WILL need that functionality. I really want to go with a G TV unit as opposed to Boxee Box or Roku. And watching shows via Amazon VOD is not an option when I could be getting it for free off of the network's website.

When will the blocks end?

Since posting this, I've found that other networks block their content as well, like Syfy. Despite the glowing reviews online of this unit, I don't know if this will work for me. The main reason I considered this unit was I was tired of watching TV on my computer. I don't have cable so my only access to Syfy is through their website. If I know a deal will be worked out soon, I can hang in there.

The networks know for a fact that no one using a GTV device will ever click on ads supporting the site so they blocked anyone using these devices. They see it as a leech on their system. Lost revenue. It's a bunch of douche baggery.

To answer your question, don't buy the Logitech Revue. Yes it's $99 but based on your requirements you'd be wasting $99. I only bought one for the Netflix option. I was tired of using the Xbox360 for Netflix because it's kind of loud late at night.

I would keep an eye on the GTV Revue threads to see if Honeycomb gets released and thwarts the Network's attempts at blocking access from these devices.
