The last one was Snow Leopard which is considered to be more like a service update for Leopard. According to the authoritative Wikipedia 
" The release of Snow Leopard came nearly two years after the introduction of Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard," the second longest time span between successive Mac OS X releases."
It's been a long time since they've had a real update and Microsoft stepped up their game with Windows 7. So are they still committed to OS X or is iPhone/iPad their only focus?
