Probably never, it's a Huawei P8 Lite (2017) on Nougat (7.0), I might get Oreo, but I'm not holding my breath.
I believe that if a phone comes with Oreo, it's supposed to get at least 2 upgrades.

The LG G6 is now officially known as the LG g6 thinQ, ever since it got Android Oreo. Considering how long it took LG to update the g6 from Android N to Android O. I won't be surprised if the g6 doesn't get till the first of the year or even next spring possibly summer

Nokia have stated that all of their phones will get Android 9. Admittedly their entire Android range is less than 2 years old, but as this includes the budget models this is a lot better than most more established brands do.

Of course it's unlikely they'll all get it at the same time, but it's definitely a point in their favour.

I remember the big hoopla about the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the long wait leading up to its receiving the Key Lime Pie update. I don't think we ever got it... so I put Key Lime Pie on my Galaxy Nexus all by myself...
