Help Where are the pictures?

The task is to transfer digital camera images from an SD card to the Nexus 7 device... using the OTG cable and Nexus Media Importer app. I can't find any pictures... any ideas?

normally on a digital camera the pictures are stored in a folder named DCIM and in that folder there ether all right there or there might be another folder (or even a few) all your pictures are going to be right in there

Sometimes the simple solution is best. There's a folder in the Nexus 7 called DCIM. My Nikon folder is also DCIM, so from here, I copied an original, unedited Nikon image [with its folder] to DCIM in the Nexus 7 device. Voila, my image is there!
