Where boot screen images are stored

The boot animation? It's not in the same place in all devices, and we don't know what phone you've got, but you could start by looking in /system/media as that's a common location. You'll need root, of course.

Not the boot animation. Just images. My device has a lot of startup screeens.

I've never heard of any Android device that has "startup screens" or "images", only a boot animation. So can't really help you.

What phone or tablet or TV box have you actually got there, make and model? Knowing this, might give us some better ideas.

It will be in your file manager under a System Hidden folder in a Json format that will need a good file extractor to access it. NOTE: The Json file will be code written under - Read Only - and could be altered or replaced with Root permissions only.
