Ok, so, while I wait for Verizon to come out w/ this elusive phone, is there anywhere can I can go to play with one? I can ony watch so many YouTube videos....it's become like Phone Porn.

Does T-Mobile carry them in store? Any other place like Best Buy or something?

Otherwise, i'm gunna have to hope i get lucky and run into someone on the street with one, go Tanya Harding on them and rip it from their cold, dead hands to play with it.....

i'll do it.

ok maybe not.

i need help.

It's just like Google to force you to know someone who already has one to get an "invite" to play with it. :-P Google Voice, anyone? ;-)

Actually, I can vouche for this approach as I have had a driod and now the N1 - just play with the droid to get a basic feel then imagine the hardware and OS greatly improved + better screen + voice to text...

Why do people keep asking questions that a very very little research would answer? And a very little common sense.

Common sense? I don't know where to go see the phone, do you?

Be patient, if you want this phone to have a real following it will have to sell to non-geeks. A few million users would get us a lot more from this phone in the end.

It'll be easier to find and try out when Verizon gets it. I heard it's going to get locked down so Google solely selling it seems to be out of the question.

Steady on Sir!! If we all took that attitude millions of happy posters on thousands of boards would have nothing to do all day ... (Not here, obviously, no, we are different, we are Droid fanbois here...)

However, in answer to

- in your own home when you spend shed-loads of $$$ with Google: Sorry, 'taint fair, 'tis Capitalism..

Or as described in the UK "Free Enterprise": Not Free, not very Enterprising...

Cheers!
