Where did facebook for android app go?

Is anyone having trouble locating the facebook for android app in the marketplace? I had uninstalled this app as it was completely messed up when I got my first android last week and went to go find it in the market place and it is no longer there...I tried using the barcode for the location in the marketplace to no avail and even tried clicking the link on the bottom of the webpage while using the browser that said "download facebook for your moment" which brings me to an error message that states "the requested item could not be found"

I found a couple posts on the facebook for android page with the same problem but there were no responses.

Any help would be wonderful!

How do I find out what version I am running and how do you upgrade?

Go to settings -> About Phone -> Android version. If you're still running 1.5, then it is likely that your phone probably will never see anything newer. Which device/carrier are you using?

I don't have that option in my settings, I have the Samsung Moment for Sprint...I have firmware version 1.5

There's a 2.1 update for the Moment available. Either get it via OTA update, download the file from online, or take it in to a Sprint store to have them do it for you.

You don't want Facebook for Android right now, it is currently buggy after the newest update and has caused many people to have 100% awake times, myself included.

The 100% awake time was fixed 2 days later by the 1.3.1 update.

Does anyone know if they will be re-releasing the facebook app for Android 1.5. I reset my i7500 the other day, and now I can't download it from the market. Luckily I was able to get a copy from bit-torrent, but it's an old version which does not allow photo uploads.
