Where did the update section go?

Am i missing something? I no longer see the update section of the forums.

It has been removed. The last 90 days of threads from that forum have been moved to Android Lounge. If you would like to discuss about Android updates and such, please post them in that particular forum.

Am i missing something? I no longer see the update section of the forums.

The vast majority of postings in the (now removed) Updates and Cupcakes forum were device specific queries for support following installation of an update. Those were being moved on a daily basis to Support and Troubleshooting sub-forums in their correct device area.

Second to those were also device specific, but were usually questions as to "when?" or expressions of anxiety over not having yet received an expected update, etc. Those were being moved to the correct device generic "chat" area below their sub-forums (because they were device specific and users of that particular device needed to be in on the conversation).

There was a bit of general update discussion there ("what's the difference between 2.1 and 2.2?," etc) but not very much.

So, as Woop said, that forum was cleaned up a bit then closed by the admin.
