Where do I start?

I've taken a look at some of the screenshots people have been posting, and I'm really interested in getting into all this myself. The problem is, I'm completely new to the whole thing. I just got my first Android phone a few days ago, and I rooted it today. I also downloaded and installed Launcher Pro.

Any help is appreciated!

Off to a good start. Just look in the forums and when you see a dock, icon or wallpaper you like just ask what it is. Alot of helpful people around here. I like Clockr for a clock/date and Beautiful Widgest for my weather. Good luck...

I agree with LSXMMA, but try to get the pro version so you can adjust size of the widgets.

Sorry, thanks for pointing that out. I have Pro also. Resizing widgets can be a big deal in getting your wallpaper just right. I wanted my beautiful weather to be directly beside my Clockr setup and took some trial and error resizing but finally got it.

Well another small question, kinda unrelated. I tried buying Beautiful Widgets but every time I tried, it would say it was on hold and I needed to update my payment information, but when I tried to load the page to do that it said page could not be found. The amount it said it cost was in UK currency, and I'm from the US, if that means anything.

Yes.. it makes a difference.. or maybe it is up to your carrier. I can't charge to my phone account if it isn't us dollars. Could be something to do with that? Also the market just gets squirelly at times.. i wasn't able to dl anything earlier.
