Where do you get the app for installing themes?

Hi, I am very new to the droid world and I am confused as to how one installs themes. I see in the market the warning that you need aHome or another app before you can install the theme. I just can't seem to find where you get the apps like aHome.

Can someone please clear this up for me?

Thanks in advance!

Is your phone rooted? If so the best way to install a theme is to download Metamorph(its free unless you want to donate to the dev)then download your theme and put it in the folder called Androidthemes(It doesn't really matter though). Open Metamorph and allow all it says (sometimes it force closes don't worry about that though just reopen it). Then apply the theme and walla! New theme.

Heres my personal favorite:
MM Smoked Glass Framework for 2.1 - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

Hope it helps.

aHome, Panda Home, OpenHome, and dxTop are all themeable home screen replacements. They are all paid apps, with the exception of Panda Home. So maybe the reason you cannot find them on the market is due to paid apps not being available in your area?

What Knitewulf is talking about is for rooted phones only. It allows much greater customization than theming a home replacement. But the way you worded your OP, it doesn't sound like that is what you are asking about.
