Help Where do you go for music you cant find in any record store? (Online or off)

There is this woman i found on pandora, Angie Evans. She's got a cool, bluesy sound, plays acoustic guitar. I think she only has one album, and from the songs I've heard on pandora, there's only one song on it that i really like. But that one song is so freaking awesome! I've tried all the local places and local retail chains, tried looking for a download online, torrent, amazon mp3. Im such an audiophile, it bugs me when i cant add a song i want to my collection..

Possibly she's not signed to a major record label, maybe why you can't find her on Amazon, etc. Have you had a look on YouTube?

I get frustrated that I can't find an album available, not anywhere.

J.J.Band published circa 1971, I believe the album was called "Requiem for a lost planet.". I was a young boy at the time, and I want to hear it again. Probably buried in CBS's(Sony Music) vaults somewhere, never to see the light of day ever again.


FWIW I gave up with brick 'n' mortar record stores when I saw the CD, "You Take My Breath Away, The best of Bon Jovi & Rammstein."

You jest, good sir!! Those are two of my favorite bands! Don't rooster tease me now, did they seriously do a collaboration? Because that record needs to be my collection yesterday... O.O

Definitely not, it was a Chinese bootleg CD I saw a couple of years ago. "You Take My Breath Away", the CDs title, was not even a Bon Jovi or Rammstein song of course, and it was on there as well. LOL Sometimes with these things it's not even the original artists, it's dreadful covers or even karaoke versions. Two of my favourite bands as well, that's why I remembered it.

Being where I am, the couple of small, CD music stores usually stock Mandopop, Cantopop, Mongolian hip-hop, and Korean boy bands, and these bootlegs sometimes. And there's a lot of grasslands folk CDs, sold by souvenir shops for tourists. So just about anything I want to listen to is online, fortunately downloading and streaming is free here from several sources, all legal, PRC only. Think that's what most people do in this country now, they download online, using smart-phones, tablets, laptops, internet bars to USB sticks. Just about any media device here now has a USB port on it to play MP3s from USB sticks.

BTW I only actually own one music CD. Nickelback, that a student gave me as a "Christmas present"(thank you very much, that's just what I always wanted). But this CD apparently came from the US, it was still sealed, all in English, with price in dollars on it. Don't know how that got here.
