I have the Directv GenieGo app on my HTC One M8. Some of the shows I downloaded will not delete from the app. I wanted to try deleting them from the folder they are in, problem is, I do not know where that folder, or what it is called. There is no Directv or GenieGo folder on my phone.

Check under /sdcard/Android/data but if they consider it protected data it's going to be under /data/data, requiring root to access it. In which case, clearing data from the app manager is the only choice - and that delete everything.
Thanks for your reply, still can't find that folder. I won't worry about it for now. I won't download any new news. I will finish the shows that are on there now, then uninstall and reinstall the app.
Good idea - just to be safe from a sloppy app (you never know) - consider clearing data before the uninstall. That's gotten to be a kind of general habit for me fwiw.
