Where does nougat keep its factory restore APK's

Im looking to restore just one factory installed app. Im rooted. Where does android nougat keep its factory restore APK's?

There are no "factory restore apks". To factory restore a phone you reflash the ROM.

Rooted you have more options, especially if you have a de-odexed ROM, but you won't find the deleted APK on your phone unless you backed it up.

I would say "restore your nandroid backup", because you should never modify the system software without making one, but if you had then I guess you'd not be asking.

Ah thanks for the information. I suppose I was confused because once on a different phone i used titanium backup to turn a app into a system app and the next time I did a factory restore I noticed that it included that app when it restored.

it also says I can integrate updates of system apps into the Rom.

So I thought that I could access them individually. Im a noob lol

Ah, I think I see the misunderstanding. It's not a "factory restore" but a "factory reset". It doesn't actually restore anything at all: all it does is delete user-installed apps and all app data. This returns an unmodified phone to "factory" condition (no user data and all settings to defaults), but it does nothing at all to the system partition. So if you used Titanium to make an app into a system app then that app will survive a factory reset because it is now in the system partition. But by the same token if you remove an app from the system a reset will not restore it.

If you can find an APK for the app and install it you could see whether titanium can integrate it with the system again. But you'll have to find it from somewhere else, because the phone doesn't keep a backup of the system (unless you are using a modern device with A/B partitions, in which case there may be another copy in the other partition. How well titanium can handle that type of device I don't know).
